Last week I had a big “whoa” moment. The first half of this year has flown by and August is nearly over, too! Anyone else feeling this way? I feel like I am only scratching the surface of some of my big goals for the year. Maybe, like me, you started the year with the best of intentions. Upon further reflection you find you’re running out of time or have lost site of the original goals. Even more fun news on the Lorna Jane front? LJ launched their iPhone app last week! It was the 7th biggest free app in the world shortly after it launched. Ummm… if you know anything about the apps world that is a REALLY BIG DEAL! It tracks workouts, inspiring women (and guys!) to work out more, harder and together and making their actions count. Kind of what we all need in life, right? Here are a few screenshots:
So here’s how it works: go to iTunes and download the app. Enter in your height, weight and date of birth (use Google calculator to convert to our measurements to metric). Pick your workout – walk, run or cycle – and track it. Once it’s finished head to NOWMOVEIT.COM to see all the action happening with women (and guys!) using the app, like you! The interactive map illustrates every user’s movements – not available outside of the U.S. just yet, but my readers will be the first to know when this launches stateside.
