Change life Moving. And Moving On.

Growth is stepping away from the known and living in the possibilities change has to offer. Equally important is expressing gratitude for lessons learned from mentors and peers along the way. Gratitude is both a sentiment and an action. In this week of thanks and giving, I encourage you to share your gratitude as you reflect on lessons learned through growth.

I have decided to take an extended break from teaching group fitness. Not an easy decision. Teaching group exercise enriched my “9-5″ life in ways nothing else could. For everyone I encountered through teaching in all the cities I’ve lived, I am grateful. You shared your energy and showed you loved yourself by taking time to give back to your health.

My energy is being poured into chasing down my dreams of being a wellness coach and holistic health professional. Movement is essential to our days and our lives and will continue to be a very important part of my day. Instead of heading to the gym, I plan to soak up time outdoors (hello, sunshine!). Enjoying the shift life is bringing, continuing to seek movement and reveling in the experiences life has to offer. I will continue to share playlists, of course! Music is a very important part of my life. This playlist is a little mix of new music with tempos perfect for a run, hike or cleaning your house… whatever it is that gets you moving! Or integrate them into your playlist if you’re a group exercise instructor.  Moving. And Moving On.
