Celebrating Bliss

These pictures bring me bliss. And as it turns out, the more bliss you allow to come into your life the more happiness you find in all things, big and small. This weekend marked 6 months until our wedding which feels strange to write as the day of the proposal is so crisp and recent in my mind. We’re keeping things very low-key and very “us” with our nuptials from the location to our attire. Our incredibly talented friend Justin captured the ease and playful spirit of our relationship in the engagement (or as I called it our “save the date”) photos. We selected Santa Monica Airport as our shoot location. Not only is the Mr.-to-be a hobby pilot, but planes and airports have played a huge role in our relationship. We spent the better part of our 7+ years together criss-crossing statelines and coastlines before I moved to L.A. for a more permanent “happily ever after” in 2010. Southwest and Virgin Airlines – you’ll always hold a special place in my heart for being an integral part of our relationship! And our wedding? It will be a destination for most of our guests, making planes yet again a quintessential part of our relationship and celebration.

As the week starts, I’m celebrating what is and what is to come. I’m taking time to rejoice in bliss and be grateful for the all that is and all that is to come. I’m thankful for the fall-like weather in L.A., friends getting engaged this past weekend, yoga this month, amazing new clients and projects and having more than I’ll ever need each day.
